INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION: CLOTHED SPACES


GENERAL TERMS

1.1

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter – the Terms) determine the rules of registration and participation in the international architecture competition titled “Clothed Spaces.”

1.2

ArchContest.com is the trading brand of ArchContest, a sole proprietorship registered in Italy, with VAT number 04166690364, headquartered at Via della Vite 30, Modena, Italy.

1.3

The Organizer reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. By accessing the Platform and registering for the Competition, the Participant fully and irrevocably accepts these Terms, which constitute a legally binding agreement between the Participant and the Organizer.

1.4

The collection, use, and disclosure of personal data provided by the Participant are governed by the Platform’s Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.


DEFINITIONS

2.1

“Platform” refers to the website https://archcontest.com, which serves as the official medium for registration and submission.

2.2

“Competition” refers to the international conceptual architecture competition “Clothed Spaces”, organized by ArchContest through the Platform.

2.3

“Participant” refers to an individual or a team registered for the Competition.

2.4

“Submission” refers to the conceptual architectural proposal submitted by the Participant.

2.5

“Jury” refers to the panel of professionals appointed to evaluate the Submissions.

2.6

“Prize” refers to the monetary awards assigned to the winners.


PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION

3.1

The Competition is open to Participants aged 18 years or older, without restrictions of nationality.

3.2

Participants may register individually or as a team. No professional license or academic certification is required.

3.3

Participation is subject to the payment of a registration fee. Access to the submission upload area will be granted only after payment confirmation.

3.4

The Organizer reserves the right to verify Participant eligibility and to resolve any disputes related to registration or participation.


SUBMISSIONS

4.1

All Submissions must be original works created exclusively by the Participant or team.

4.2

Submissions must be uploaded exclusively through the Platform within the deadlines specified. Submissions sent by email, cloud links, or other formats will not be accepted.

4.3

A total of 20 finalists and 3 prize-winning projects will be selected by the Jury.

4.4

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that their Submissions do not infringe third-party intellectual property or other rights.


FEES AND COSTS

5.1

The registration fee must be paid in full to validate participation.

5.2

The registration fee is non-refundable, except in the event of official cancellation of the Competition.

5.3

All costs related to the preparation and submission of projects are borne exclusively by the Participants.


DISQUALIFICATION

6.1

The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who provides false information or violates these Terms or the Competition guidelines.

6.2

Failure to comply with submission requirements or deadlines may result in disqualification without refund.


SELECTION OF WINNERS

7.1

All Submissions will be evaluated anonymously by the Jury according to predefined evaluation criteria.

7.2

The Jury’s decisions are final, binding, and not subject to appeal.


PRIZES

8.1

The total prize fund will be distributed among the three (3) winning projects.

8.2

Prize winners must provide valid banking details to receive monetary awards.

8.3

Any taxes or charges related to the receipt of prize money are the sole responsibility of the winners.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

9.1

Participants retain full ownership of their Submissions. By participating, they grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, exhibit, promote, and communicate the Submissions for cultural, editorial, and promotional purposes.

9.2

Winning and finalist projects may be used by the Organizer for marketing, branding, exhibitions, publications, and educational activities related to the Competition.


LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

10.1

By participating, Participants agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the Competition or use of the Submissions.


CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS

11.1

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition at any stage, should circumstances require.

11.2

In the event of cancellation, paid registration fees will be refunded in full.


COMMUNICATION

12.1

All official communication related to the Competition will be conducted via [email protected].

12.2

In the case of team participation, communication will be addressed exclusively to the designated team leader.


GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

13.1

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy.

13.2

Any disputes arising from participation in the Competition shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Modena, Italy.


CONCLUSION

14.1

These Terms enter into force upon the Participant’s registration for the Competition.

14.2

Participants are responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms to stay informed of any updates or amendments.
